On this page you will find our Home Learning Policy as well as resources for encouraging and supporting further learning at home. For home learning directly linked to your child’s class, please go to the Class Learning pages and look for your child’s class.

A child’s education does not finish when they leave our school building at the end of a day. Education continues as part of their daily routines and family activities. Learning at home is an essential part of good education. We know that many parents want to know how best to support their children’s learning at home.

At Frogston Primary School, we would like you to keep three words in mind:

Read     Attend     Play

By focusing on these three things, you can help to give your child the very best start in life, not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. To find our more, please take a look at our Home Learning (or R.A.P.) Policy!

For those of you looking for some fun challenges to help your child progress and learn further, take a look at our Going for Gold challenge booklets for Reading, Spelling and Numeracy. Printed out, these will form little booklets for you to progress through and complete at home. If you would like any support or guidance around these challenges, please chat to a member of staff.

And if your child is putting in lots of effort and making progress, tell us! We would love to share their efforts at assemblies and class discussions!

You can also practice times tables here.

Prodigy Maths has fun and free maths learning through games. Registration is required and younger children will need adult support as there is a lot of text and story telling, but it is an excellent free resource!

Look here for questions to ask your child when reading together!
